“Happy Days”  Mount Sunapee Ski Resort Commercial

I guess I forgot to mention that I had the pleasure of being a part of this lovely little promo commercial for Mount Sunapee Ski Resort in New Hampshire.  We did the shoot last year in 2012 in November on the 29th and 30th.  The commercial aired on multiple stations, especially in Massachussetts all winter and may still be showing now.  A rather exciting shoot in that I was able to ride in one of those grooming machines up to the summit and then back down.  The return trip sort of took my breath away.

I agreed to model for this commercial for a few reasons.  First and foremost,  I have many fond memories from skiing on this mountain in my youth.  Also, my cousin Wesley-Bob and his wife Jaime married on the summit with that last parting view of Lake Sunapee as the backdrop.  And I loved the fact that it was not like other ski resort commercials.   So many of them are like used car sale commercials.  But this is the kind of visual ecstasy you get when working with Ben Silberfarb, a very talented filmmaker.  Thank you Ben!  And thank you Mark Schiffman!   This was fun!
