This was a collaborative effort with my friend, Sonja Beeker and myself. She and I had met through her husband who kindly leased me a 2 lb. Eureka tent, for twenty-five dollars, for my hike. After returning, Sonja and I caught up and did some follow-up interviews. My friends, who I had met in Monson, ME, Patrick McCauley, Jen McClain, and Shorty Dorsey kindly agreed to interviews while staying with me in Norwich, VT on their zero day.
